The Annex

The students are having such a great time at the annex. We're trying
to get some money together for the décor of the room. One of our young
adults is going to take some pics of the sights surrounding our church
and also some of the students that we're gonna hang on the walls.
Can't wait to get the girls to Ikea to pick out some great things to
make feel like their own.

It's hard to believe we've only been here for seven weeks! The Lord is
really bringing a fresh wind, and Satan is trying as hard as he can to
put a stop to it... sorry dude but that's not an option.

life in houston & the annex

We've really been quite busy since we moved here. Hardly time to wash
clothes or clean house. But what better excuse to not have to do
laundry... Well I guess until you've run out of underwear.

There's really so much work to be done around our new church here in
houston. It's really fun to work through some of these projects with
people you are just getting to know. I feel likebim learning a lot...
a LOT about myself and how much hope in the things unseen is important.

Today I am subbing in a classroom of 4yr olds-preK also known as chaos
with 19 pairs of legs. BUT who also get a naptime... I.love.naptime.
and think grownups should get one too!

For now this an updated pic of the annex. The kids are very excited
and love to come hang out there wed night and sun mornings. I'll post
another pic of the youth room etc hopefully soon.
