6:50 am- Wake Up
7:00 am- Shower and shape up... time to be a dad!
7:30 am - Family members begin to arrive
8:30 am - Family photo session begins
8:45 am - Prayer time for Mel and Lil'B
9:30 am- Game time!
9:45 am- Sitting patiently... Doc walks in.
Our conversation:
Me- Whats up doc? Just another day at the office?
Doc- Nah... Wish I could say that. This little fellow is special.
Reality sits in... the longest moment of my life. I try to pray, but I am speechless. So... I immediately begin to pray Matthew 6:9-10
"Our Father in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven."
10:15 am- Mel is knocked out for the count
10:38 am- At 5lbs 18in we welcome Lil' B into the world!!! (I'm so proud)
10:57 am- I tell everyone in the waiting room that things went well
11:15 am- Back inside recovery room to wait on Mel
11:30 am- Mommy rolls in like a champ "knocked out!"
11:45 am- Family and friends visit and continue loving on Mel
This is a brief play by play of what I experienced today. I must say... I'm beside myself. He will call me "dad". My prayer is that I will lead him in a fashion that reflects Jesus Christ and reflect the love our families have shown to us.
Now, off to see him again. We'll have updates on his condition coming soon. Till then... please pray for mommy to regain her strength.

OMGSH! Casey! Melissa! OMGSH! Congrats! He is so gosh-darn CUTE! Every time I look at him I'm all like.... "Awwwwwwwww!"

that baby is big! (For his age) I was only a half inch longer and 13oz bigger than he was and I was born (a week late)! You guys are so lucky!!!!!!! Can't wait to see you guys!
